Setting up VAT Compliance Suite

After installing the extension, navigate to VAT Validation Setup in Business Central to enter your API URL and bearer token. Full instructions: vatidator.com/docs/vat-compliance-suite.

Bulk VAT validation

Use the VAT Validation Dashboard to run bulk validation across your entire customer and vendor database. Results are logged with tamper-evident proof records automatically.

Posting block configuration

The posting block can be configured per document type and per VAT status (Invalid, Unchecked, Stale). Configuration is available in VAT Validation Setup.

Privacy & GDPR Assessment

Run a scan from the Privacy Assessment Overview page. The assessment analyses your ERP data model for PII-sensitive fields and API exposure risks and generates a scored findings report.

Proof records and audit evidence

Each validation generates a proof record with a unique Proof ID, viewable via the VAT Proof Viewer and retained according to your subscription plan (Starter: 12 months, Professional: 5 years, Enterprise: custom).

Minimum BC version: Business Central 2026 Wave 1 (application 28.0) or later.

Reporting a bug

If you encounter unexpected behaviour, please email support@vatidator.com with a description of what happened and what you expected, steps to reproduce, your ERP platform and version, and any error messages or screenshots. We confirm receipt within one business day.

Security disclosures

If you discover a security vulnerability in our products or infrastructure, please report it responsibly to security@vatidator.com. We ask that you do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours.

Billing and subscriptions

Billing and subscription management is handled by our Merchant of Record payment provider. To manage your subscription, update payment details, or download invoices, use the customer portal link sent to your subscription email address. For billing enquiries not resolved through the portal, contact billing@vatidator.com.

Service status

We maintain our API infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (EU West Europe region). In the event of a service disruption, we will communicate via email to active subscribers. Enterprise customers with SLA agreements receive direct notification per their support contract.
